We live here, too. Helping a neighbor in need stay warm is the right thing to do—and the best part of our job.
No one should go through a North Georgia winter without safe, reliable heat. ZAP Cooling & Heating is gifting a free heating system + installation to a neighbor in need in our service area. If you know a family struggling with heat—or if that family is yours—please submit a nomination. It’s quick, private, and helps us reach the people who need it most.
Eligibility Requirements - Who can be Nominated?
Lives in White, Hall, Dawson, Lumpkin, Stephens, or Habersham County. Put all counties
Nominee has to own the home.
The current heating system is unsafe, failing, or unaffordable to repair.
Nominee must to allow a site visit for assessment.
What the winner receives
A new heating system (equipment sized by Manual J Load Calculation M1402.3), professional installation, high-quality materials, digital thermostat, startup, calibration, safety check, manufacturer warranty, and ZAP’s workmanship guarantee.
How it works:
- Submit a nomination.
- Site assessment by our licensed team to confirm fit and safety.
Timeline:
- Nominations close: Dec 11, 5 PM
- Nominee Drawing: Dec 12th - Live Stream 4:30PM - Add Live link
- Installation: immediately or shortly after the selection of the nominee.

Prefer to come in person? Stop by at 7314 GA-115 Cleveland, GA 30528—and we’ll take your nomination in person.
Fair selection & privacy:
A small community panel will review nominations based on need, safety, and feasibility. Details you share are kept confidential and used only for this program internally. If selected, we’ll ask permission to share a short story and photos.
